Writing and wine: “Finding the right words to describe the way a wine tastes is the same as trying to find the right words to describe a moment, a look or a feeling when writing.” - M. Robertson - Author of "Mask Among The Bones"

Farnese Montepulciano d"Abruzzo Fantini 2013
This deep red, full bodied Italian wine is slightly acidic with aromas of sour black cherries and undertones of leather, tobacco and freshly sun dried linen. Tastes are a combination of black cherries and under-ripe blackberries that add a certain tang. There were slight undertones of oak. This wine would go very well with lasagna. I would give it an 87.
